My stay at a 7 star Hotel - Dubai!

Everyone deserves a little Luxury in their life. Read more about my stay at the 7 star hotel in Dubai, The Burj Al Arab ! I highly highly recommend booking a stay here :)

We decided to splurge a little and book a few nights stay at the world renowned Burj Al Arab. The Burj Al Arab is the world’s most luxurious hotel. It has surpassed the 5 star rating and has been labeled a 7 star hotel by travel writers and critics. This hotel sits on a man made island. It took 2 years to build the island and 3 years to build the hotel. Beginning in 1994.

This opulent hotel has 9 restaurants, 4 fresh & salt water swimming pools, a private beach, & a luxe spa.

Think one word, Exclusive. In order to reach the Burj Al Arab, guests must access the bridge road accompanied by a guard. You can’t enter the premises without a room booking.

When you enter you will be greeted by bell men, door men and concierge who will make sure you and all of your belongings are taken care of.

The second we stepped out of the car and walked through The large beautiful golden doors, Our every whim was attended to! We were greeted by a woman who provided us with a cold wet towel to cool off from the humid outdoors. The wait to be helped at the receptionist desk took some time so they grabbed our passports and offered us dates and water. Talk about a great first impression! They refused to let us get up to get anything.

After checking in, we were given a mini tour by one of the receptionist. She explained everything from the hours of operation of the amenities and restaurants on each floor and guided us all the way to our room.

To my surprise, each floor has an assigned butler who sits at a desk at the floor entrance. The butler can also be reached from inside the suite just by pressing 0.

I was actually taken back at how attentive the butler was. Our room is right next to the their desk. So every time we opened up the door, she turned towards us with a bright smile on her face; ready to assist!

We entered our two story opulent suite and were immediately wowed by the 24k gold, red, and blue ornate decor, statuario (white) marble floors, gold plated TVs, velvet sofas, gold framings, a 3 tier tray of small bites of caviar, truffles, cookies etc and a beautiful two story view of the Persian gulf.

The suite has everything you could ever need. Included in the room is a 24 hour concierge service, selection of 9 types of pillows, a bed personalized for your specific posture preferences, Egyptian cotton linen, 21 in iMac, 2 42inch interactive HD TVs , separate living restroom on the lower level, Hermès bathroom amenities, a master bathroom with a full size jacuzzi and a separate 5 head rain shower and as mentioned previously, world class butler service!

The Burj Al Arab houses two amazing restaurants; Al Muntaha and Skyview Bar & Restaurant on the 27th floor with two top chefs who have 5 Michelin stars combined. They both joined in 2019 and have made Burj Al Arab a top fine dining destination in Dubai
